Team Sask Senior Pom
To support high-performance athletic opportunities, the Saskatchewan Cheerleading Association is sponsoring a Senior Pom Team composed of talented athletes from across Saskatchewan. Athletes will be selected through in-person tryouts, with an option for video tryouts.
We’re thrilled to announce this new program, which is designed for athletes to gain experience, technique, and knowledge from any location in the province. This initiative opens the door for athletes to potentially experience the incredible talent at Worlds and elevate pom in Sask to new heights. For many, this opportunity was previously out of reach, but now it’s within everyone’s grasp!

We welcome applications for both athletes and coaches to take part in this team that will train together to compete in the virtual Canadian Cheerleading Championships, in hopes of being awarded the opportunity to represent Team Canada at the 2025 ICU World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida.
Additional Team Sask Opportunities
While the SCA continues to develop our Team Sask program to expand into other areas of performance cheer as well as cheer, for the 2024/2025 the opportunity for club and school teams to represent Saskatchewan is open to all SCA Members.
It is the intention that all Team Sask teams will participate in the Canadian Cheerleading Championships – a virtual competition with a tentative date of November 2024. Any team selected to represent Team Sask must follow the Team Sask policy.
For the 2024-2025 season, the SCA Board will approve Team Sask teams for the ICU stream by request form in the following divisions.
