All Coaches in Training (CITs) are required to complete approved concussion education as part of the CIT pathway.

The required training depends on your age:

CITs ages 14+: Complete the free online NCCP Making Head Way in Sport module. You will need an NCCP account through The Locker to access the course.

CITs ages 12–13: Complete the Heads Up Concussion Training or an equivalent approved concussion education course.

Concussion education helps CITs recognize the signs and symptoms of a suspected concussion and understand the importance of responding appropriately to help keep athletes safe.
